What was your career ambition when you were a child?
It switched almost daily, but ambitions included fireman, stockbroker, novelist, politician, poet, singer/songwriter.
Besides your position at the Outlook, what are three other jobs that you’ve held?
I was a librarian at Regent University. Before coming The Outlook I was news editor at The Voice-Tribune.
Besides Jesus, if you could have dinner with anyone, living or deceased, who would it be?
My grandfather, Edward Glassner, who died before I was born.
What is one of your favorite smells? One of your favorite sounds?
Smells: Steak sizzling on a grill. Sounds: The G chord on an acoustic guitar.
What is a favorite item of clothing that you own?
A non-descript gray sweater I’ve had for 12 years.
If you somehow inherited $5 million, what are the first three ways that you would spend some of the money?
First I would cash the check in dollar bills and swim through the money like Scrooge McDuck. Then I would travel around the world.
What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Managua, Nicaragua on a missions trip.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Burnt sienna.
What is a favorite quote of yours?
